This Week In Our Unbelievable Class! I can't believe we have finished our last full week of school! We did a lot this week! We wrapped up science and health. We also finished reading Ramona Quimby, Age 8, and also created a diorama project showing a scene from the book. The kids did their project entirely on their own! I am very proud of them.
We finished this week with an awards ceremony celebrating those students who made the Principal's list and Honor Roll. I am so proud that most of the kids in my class made one of these two lists. Congratulations to Kaylie and Natalie for making Principal's list!! Congratulations to Ruth, Cassidy, Gabriel, Deborah, Karl, Jack, Ava, Logan, and Savannah for making Honor Roll! I am so proud of you all! Have a great weekend and we will see you for our final week of school on Monday!! Shannon |
Homework:During the summer it is important to keep your child's brain working. Please have them read, practice math facts, etc throughout the summertime.
Look into tutoring, working with your child on your own, or having your child work independently on school subjects. The more chances they have to practice things they learned this year, the easier of a transition it will be for next year. |
This Week's HighlightsMath: We began our study on multiplying and dividing greater numbers. We also continued studying math facts.
